Head's Welcome

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome you to Oaksey Church of England Primary School. I am very proud to be Headteacher of this small village school where the children are the heart of all learning. All adults within the school work closely together, ensuring that it is a special place to learn. We pride ourselves on creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in which all have opportunities to flourish.

Parent Cafe: Understanding Your Child's Behaviour

Parent Cafe: Understanding Your Child's Behaviour

We are delighted to be able to offer a Parent Cafe on Monday 2nd February 9-10:15am where our Parent Support Advisor, Terry Jones, will be sharing advice on the theme of 'What is my child's behaviour trying to communicate and what can I do about it'"

This will be a great opportunity to meet Terry and ask any questions you may have about your child's behaviour. Terry has also worked with The Sleep Charity and has plenty of expertise in this area, so if you have concerns about your child’s sleep routine, she is the person to speak to.

Please register your interest in this event by emailing Rachel Woods senco@oaksey.wilts.sch.uk

We hope to see you there.

Books to Inspire: Re-stocking the Library

Following on from last week's newsletter, please find the recommended reading books we are looking for to re-stock our library with high-quality books.  We would welcome any donations if you have any of these books at home that you no longer use.  You can also support the re-stocking of the library by buying the books from Barn Owl Books in Malmesbury who have kindly offered us a 20% discount.  They will keep track of which ones we are still looking for.
