I would like to welcome you to Oaksey Church of England Primary School. I am very proud to be Headteacher of this small village school where the children are the heart of all learning. All adults within the school work closely together, ensuring that it is a special place to learn. We pride ourselves on creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in which all have opportunities to flourish.

Iron-Age Style!
An action-packed day in every sense of the word! We kicked things off with a round of Happy Birthday and present opening, then morning entertainments before a hearty breakfast to set us up for the day. Thank you Norman! This morning we’ve been delving into the Iron Age, making butter, flour and a poultice for cuts. Great skills shown by everyone. More photos to follow in Galleries...
The New Barn Crew!
An exciting first day at New Barn! Orienteering this afternoon followed by a 'Bygones' drama activity, fantastic dinner and night walk. Then games and hot chocolate to round the evening off. I arrived to lots of happy, excited faces and to give you a flavour these were some of the opening comments: 'It's so fun here!' 'We saw a bat!' 'We've had an awesome day.' 'The food here is REALLY good.' All settled and snoozing. Roll on tomorrow...
